We took advantage of many of the things on offer. Laundry, bingo, quiz and dance competitions, dinner, a show…

Winners are grinners

It was bingo and quiz day. Madonna and Danny started the day with Quick Hit music trivia – 50s and 60s music from UK. It was not a good start. At 3:30 we had a go at the Bingo and again, no luck.

We nearly tied first in the Masquerade Quiz. Danny was very confident and was writing answers (and then consulting the team). He went rogue (against the team) for one particular answer. X Wrong! It ended up being the difference between the top score and our score.

We enjoyed our masquerade dinner and went to the show, Fizz. Banter ensued with the cast – Wayne (the Duke or Dukie) received some personal attention.

We then took part in a landslide quiz where majority answers won. Believe it or not, we won this – turns out we could predict the most mundane and common answers of the room. We received a glass and bottle of wine for our troubles which provided our next round of drinks.

We then did the Full House Party Bingo which involved dance-offs for prizes. All three boys ‘cut the cloth’. Danny tried hard but only received verbal encouragement.

Mark and Wayne were both brought up to the front. Mark had a dance-off and nearly won. Beaten by the Grandma of the dance floor!

Scottish Wayne was a sight to behold. We walked out with two USBs and a mouse pad for their troubles.
