Picturesque Heidelberg

Early bus ride to Heidelberg, Germany. Mark and Donna did the castle tour.

The rest of us did the adventure walk down beside the castle, across the bridge and up the other side looking down over the city.

Down beside the castle
Rubbing the monkey for luck wasn’t enough – our two boys hopped inside
Danny complete with Roosters cap
Across the bridge
A lot of steps and then this view on the other side
Our guide, Adrienne did comment that this group of 13 were quite fast compared to other groups she had led.
We found these two wandering the streets looking for this town’s sweet delight – Student’s Kiss
Just sat here for the photo – probably upset the cafe owner

We returned to the ship and enjoyed a German influenced lunch. As we were sailing the rest of the day, it was down time. Mark and Wayne enjoyed some time up on deck and our views from our ship became more picturesque.

In the evening, we docked at Rudesheim. After dinner, we strolled into the town before retiring for the evening.
