2024 Norwegian Nomads

After a good night’s rest, a shower and a sleep-in, Wayne and I did a quick walk and then joined the others for a lovely breakfast.

We caught the tram to the train station before catching a train to Basel.

We were bussed to our home for the next eleven days – Avalon Tranquility II.

We were taken straight to lunch and welcome drinks. Once we settled into our rooms, we went for a stroll to the pylon where three countries meet – Switzerland, France and Germany.

A quick nap and then relaxing together before the safety talk and a 5 course dinner (Mark and I had the snails which were delicious).

Immediate impressions

* an abundance of delicious food and drinks

* a beautiful room with incredible views

…and a group of wonderful friends to enjoy it all with.

Faux pas of the day

Danny asking if there will be any locks on our trip. Apparently 38 and we were in our 3rd when we went to bed.
